Our
Training Hub

We understand that organising an event or exhibition can be stressful for our clients; by providing them with expertly trained staff through our program, we're helping ease some of that burden and make the entire process smoother and more enjoyable for all involved.
By investing in our training program, we're able to offer even more customised and specialised services to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
The quality of an event's crew can make or break its success, which is why we're dedicated to offering the best possible training resources for the personal development of our crew which ultimately will benefit our clients.

Our new training hub is proving to be a big success and training the crew in multiple disciplines, marquee structures, event scaffolding, exhibition shell scheme and plant training.

When it comes to providing exceptional event crew members, there are several essential skills that they need to possess. First and foremost, a strong attention to detail is crucial. From erecting temporary structures to ensuring the smoothest set-up of an exhibition, every little detail matters in the events industry. They need to have the ability to spot even the smallest issues and address them promptly. We have a range of equipment in our hub so we can emulate real scenarios, we may be building a complete exhibition set-up or erecting a 9m x 9m structure in our hub, either way, we put as much emphasis on the practical physical training as we do on the classroom-based training.

Another vital skill is the ability to work well under pressure. Events can be fast-paced and demanding, with tight deadlines and unexpected challenges. As a member of the event crew, they must be able to handle the pressure and stay calm and focused, even in high-stress situations.
Effective communication skills are also essential. As part of the crew, they will be working closely with a team of individuals, including event managers, vendors, and clients. Clear and concise communication is key to ensuring that everyone is on the same page and that tasks are completed efficiently.

We note that being physically fit and having good stamina is important. Event crew members often engage in physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment or setting up event structures. We train and assess the crew to ensure that they can handle the physical demands of the job without compromising the safety or the quality of the work.

Lastly, having a strong work ethic and a positive attitude is vital. Events can be long and challenging, but a positive attitude can make all the difference. Being reliable, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile will set YOUR Group crew apart as exceptional event crew members

By honing these essential skills, our in-house training is invaluable as they clock practical handling hours and become fine-tuned event crew contractors. Our comprehensive training program is designed to help crew develop and refine these skills, ensuring that they are fully prepared for success in the exciting world of events and ultimately allowing our clients peace of mind they that have a skilled and competent workforce.
